A hopeful beginning, but disappointing end

The check-in process was a breeze, thanks to the friendly front desk staff who greeted us with smiles. It felt promising as we settled in.

Unfortunately, the room was plagued by smoke odors and a malfunctioning TV. This overshadowed our stay despite the hopeful start.

Great location, clean room

The location was super convenient, close to all the attractions. My room had air conditioning, a TV, and a private bathroom with free toiletries. It felt clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful whenever I needed assistance. The pool area was nice but didn’t get to use the spa. Definitely made my stay enjoyable.

I really enjoyed the outdoor pool and the cozy sun loungers during my stay. The place was perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. Just a heads up, the ice machine was out of order, but it didn’t stop me from having a great time! 🏖️

It was just a perfect match for strolling around in Orlando with good value. The room was extremely cold during my stay. Take all valuables with you when checking in.

Consider checking room conditions before settling in. Great place for families looking for budget options.

I had a wonderful stay at Howard Johnson By Wyndham Orlando-International Drive! The location is fantastic, just minutes away from all the attractions. I really appreciated having a clean room that was equipped with a refrigerator and microwave, which made my stay comfortable. The staff was also friendly and accommodating, ready to assist whenever needed.

The breakfast options could have been better.

The pool view from the Standard King Room provided a nice touch for relaxation. Convenience of having a refrigerator and microwave in the room made it easy to store and prepare snacks during the stay.

It's clear this place is a bit worn out, with signs like water stains on the ceiling and aging decor that screams for a facelift. Some rooms smell unpleasant, and I found stray hair on the sheets, which definitely isn't ideal. The bathroom showed some serious neglect, with visible holes in the walls and a moldy atmosphere, which left a lot to be desired.

great place for city strolls and nearby attractions

the location was prime as it provided easy access to so many attractions nearby, including universal's volcano bay just a short walk away and delicious restaurants like red lobster just a few steps from my room, making it perfect for my weekend city adventure.

the laundry area was useful but constantly had issues with washers breaking down.

Not for the faint of heart

Well, the bed was decent enough & surprisingly, the AC worked great in this dump. I also appreciated that I had plenty of pillows, which is key for me to get some sleep.

Look, it wasn’t exactly a bargain either, but at least the essentials were covered.

We enjoyed our family time at the pool and the convenient location near theme parks. The front desk staff were friendly and quick during our check-in, making the process smooth. It made our trip easy and enjoyable, especially with all the attractions nearby.

My kids wished the room had been cleaner and better maintained. They noted the lack of towels and some stains that could use more attention.

The stay was incredibly disappointing. The first room was infested with roaches, making it impossible to feel comfortable or safe. Staff were unhelpful during check-in, providing incorrect room keys multiple times and neglecting to assist with the elevator issues. There seemed to be a lack of maintenance, with broken amenities adding to the overall negative experience.
